Hello – I’m Marshmallow! My sibling and I came to Mostly Mutts in need of good homes. Fortunately, there was a great foster home waiting for us, so we have been soaking up the love and attention there since our rescue. It is now time for me to find a great home of my very own, so plan to meet me soon!
• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I get along well with my sibling, and I am quite tolerant of his AMAZING energy. I may enjoy another kitty in my new home. If you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a kitten friend, we would likely be pals. / I took a while to warm up to the dog in my foster home, but I learned to accept him, his sniffing and even licks. I even sassed him back when he accidently scared me by jumping on the bed without his usual warning. It likely will depend on the dog, but if you have a kitty-friendly doggie at home, we can probably be pals. / Children in my new home may be nice, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten. Small children seem a bit much for me at first, but I’ll come out of hiding to play. If they are too rambunctious, I just avoid them. Slightly older kids (age 6-8) would be the best match and – of course, let’s meet!
• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: My foster describes me as a lovely girl who is ‘a real gem’. I was a bit fearful when I first arrived in my foster home, so I may need a little while to adjust in my new home, but – once I am comfortable, my sweet and loving nature does emerge. I am becoming a true lap kitty and pace briefly to show you where to pet me before settling in for the long haul – lol. I am playful and curious with a bit of an independent streak. A great combination!
• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love ALL TOYS and ALL PLAY! Interactive play is my favorite, but I also enjoy toys by myself. I love my brother and am also now brave and social when people come to visit. Petting and cuddles are the best – my favorite scratch or rub spot is the back of my neck around the collar area. I love my scratching post, which is good news for the house furniture – lol. / I can’t think of any dislikes, since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention on which I thrive!
• MEDICAL: I’m up-to-date on my kitten shots, microchipped and spayed.
