Hello – I’m Flannel! My siblings and I were rescued from animal control at just 3 weeks old. We’ve spent time in a great foster home and recently took up residence in the Kitty Room at the shelter. Now, I am ready to find a great furever home, so I hope you will come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member!
• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I get along great with my siblings, so I may enjoy another kitty in my new home. If you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a kitten friend, let’s meet! / It likely will depend on the dog, but if you have kitty-friendly doggie at home, I would probably do well with them. / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten. Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet!
• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: Like my siblings, I’m still a little shy, but I promise I’m as sweet as can be once I feel safe and cozy. I’m just a tiny thing right now, learning about the big world one quiet step at a time. Loud noises and fast movements may startle me, but gentle voices and soft cuddles help me feel brave. Every day, I’m growing into my playful side — batting at toys, sneaking up on string, and discovering how fun it is to be a kitten! I may need a little patience at first, but once I trust you, I’ll be your soft, purring shadow and a loving little friend for life.
• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love practicing my playing skills with the cool kitten toys in the kitten room. When the volunteers come to visit, I may be shy and timid, but they are patient and let me approach when I am comfortable. Like most kittens, my curiosity gets the better of me, and I come to check them out. / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention on which I thrive!
• MEDICAL: I’ve started my kitten shots, but you must finish those for me as I grow. I am microchipped. I'm not yet neutered due to my small size, but it is required and will be done as soon as I grow a little more. Mostly Mutts will cover that cost with one of their approved vets in the North Metro Atlanta area, so local adoptions only.
I am looking for a wonderful home where I will be a much-loved family member! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
