Since 2004, Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue has been working closely with county animal control facilities to save homeless pets from being euthanized. Since moving into our new pet rescue and adoption center in February 2016 our adoption numbers have been steadily climbing! We need your help now more than ever to sustain this growth and save more homeless pets!
Did you know that 70% of all the money raised for charitable organizations in the United States comes from INDIVIDUAL DONORS?
Many of our supporters think we fund our operations with grants and adoption fees. NOT TRUE! While we apply for applicable grants on a regular basis, they only make up a very small percentage of our budget. In addition, we typically spend MORE than the adoption fee on every animal we rescue. Think about the cost to spay/neuter an animal, vaccinations, microchip, heartworm and flea preventative, food, etc. While some of the dogs and cats in our program get adopted quickly, others stay with us for a long time… Not to mention our special needs cases that require additional veterinary care before they can be adopted. These include pets with broken bones, mange, heart worm, dental and vision problems to name a few.
If you believe in the life-saving work we do at Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue, please consider a donation today.
We are especially grateful to our recurring donors who participate in the “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg” program. Even a small monthly donation that we can count on, helps us plan our expenses and ensures we can continue to help the special needs cases.
A donation to Mostly Mutts is a great gift for the animal lover in your life! It is also a great way to honor the memory of a pet who has passed. Your generous gift will be acknowledged with a personal thank-you note to your friend.
