COMMUNITY SERVICE SHIFT SCHEDULES OFFERED
Seven days a week
8:00 am - 2:00 pm | 10:00 am - 4:00 pm | 4:00 pm - 9:30 pm
On weekdays, you have flexibility in the time you leave, but not in the time you arrive. You must adhere to your designated leave time. Leaving early will count as a call-out.
There is no flexibility on weekends or evening shifts. You must work the entire duration of hours.
You will manage your shifts online. A text notification goes out immediately to your management team, informing them that you will be coming in/calling out. Please make sure that if you choose to sign-up for a shift, that you are committed to coming. Removals online count toward callouts.
Last-minute cancellations prevent us from properly scheduling help. If you call out after 8:00 PM the day before you are scheduled, we reserve the right to terminate you from the program. We only accept removals before 8:00 PM the night prior to your shift.
You must log hours by clocking in and out of our web-based portal, VicTouch. You should also use a Mostly Mutts' timesheet or your own to track your hours. Hours will only be signed off by one of our shelter managers. You are responsible for ensuring your timesheet is signed daily at the end of your shift. Mostly Mutts does not keep a record of these hours. If your timesheet is lost or VicTouch logs are inaccurate, you must perform the hours again.
DRESS CODE
A Mostly Mutts T-shirt and name tag should be worn at all times. Please do not wear excessively tight or revealing clothing. No bare midriffs or chests, please. Proper undergarments are required.
For safety reasons, we ask that workers do not wear hoop earrings or open-toed shoes (NO flip flops or sandals allowed). Also, please dress accordingly for the weather, as part of your shift may be spent outside. We also use cleaning products with bleach and sometimes get jumped on by muddy pups, so please wear practical clothes, that can withstand becoming dirty or ruined.
Please fill out the online form below. Once you have completed the form, you will receive an email confirmation with instructions. You will be able to sign up for shifts immediately. If you do not receive the email with instructions, check your spam folder. For any further questions, email This email address is being protected from spambots.
