AN ADORABLE & SWEET PUP: 4 months old / Currently 18 lbs. and growing

Hi there I’m Adalynn! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I sure am happy about that! I had little healing sores on my ears and some on my body too – ouch! I don’t recall how I got them, but I’m doing great now!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I’ve met a big and a small dog while in my foster home and I do seem to enjoy them, so if you have a dog already that would enjoy a puppy friend, let’s meet / I haven’t met kitties yet, but I’m very young so I’d likely do well with them if they like puppies / I think a home with kids a little older and calm natured would be a good fit. I get a little scared when I hear loud noises or if there is a lot of commotion, so let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: My foster family describes me as a great puppy who loves to cuddle and play with toys or anything I can find as I am teething, and love to have things in my mouth. I also just love being with my people and have a very trusting nature that wants to please you. I get about 3 bursts of energy daily and will run around for about 30 minutes each time which is just so cute to watch. Maybe we can play fetch in the yard together. In the evenings I love snuggling while we watch TV together. They also say that I’m one of the best puppies they have fostered – yay me! / Energy level: 4-6.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I have learned the ‘sit’ and ‘down’ commands and I ride well in the car. I’m very food motivated which is great for my continued training, so I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you as I do still have puppy teeth and sometimes forget they are sharp / I don’t mind my crate and my foster family gives me a Nyla bone inside it at night. I sleep well all night and I haven’t had accidents in it either / I’m learning my potty training now. I’ll sit down near a door every 2.5 - 3 hours so I’m learning to signal that I need to go outside, but right now, if you miss my little signal, I’ll tinkle there. Just take me outside consistently with positive reinforcement and I think I’ll finish learning this quickly.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love cuddling, playing with toys and always having something in my mouth, so please watch me outside as I do pick up sticks etc. I also love to sit on the screened porch and watch what’s going on in the yard as well as getting the zoomies and enjoying running very fast for short periods of time like most puppies do! A fenced yard to play in with my family would be nice. I like a little something mixed in with my kibble like raw carrots or a little treat/ I still get a little scared when I hear a loud noise or there is a lot of commotion, so a calmer home would be great. I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention and training.

• MEDICAL: I will be spayed after my first heat cycle due to my girly parts being recessed which happens occasionally. The hormone release of a heat cycle should help with this. MM’s will pay for my spay surgery after my first heat cycle so local adoption only. I’m microchipped & have started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.

I’m a great puppy looking for a great family to grow up with and be loved by! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
