A KITTY LOOKING FOR HER MATCH:  2 years old / small

Hi, my name is Suri! I was adopted from Mostly Mutts as a kitten, and - unfortunately, things did not work out in my previous home. I am now back with Mostly Mutts, and I know the right home is out there for me - we just have to find each other!

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I have a friendly curiosity (no hissing or growling) about the adult cats in my foster home, though we are kept separated. With proper introduction and time in my new home, I may like a kitty friend. However, I did NOT like when there were foster kittens in my foster home. I could smell them in the other room and was not a fan of them being there / Dogs Unknown / Much older and calm children in my home MAY be a good match, but the fast movement and activity of young children would probably rush me, and I really accept people on my own timetable. So, of course, let's meet!

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: Once I am comfortable with you, I am a sweet girl who will seek you out when I know you are my friend. I needed adjustment time in my foster home (it took about a week in my foster home for me to welcome pets of any kind). This will likely be the case in my new home, as well. My person will need to be calm and patient - able to read my cues for when I do not want affection and letting me come to you (which I now do 95% of the time with my foster mom, who has spent time earning my trust - reading to me, talking to me and just being in the room). I really have blossomed in my foster home – going from being very hand shy to taking treats for my foster’s hand – HUGE!

• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I do keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. I should tell you, though, this was one of the reasons my previous home did not work out. In my foster home, I use the litter box fine, but my foster mom has noticed that I will go potty elsewhere for attention if I feel I am not getting as much time with my person as I would like.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I like to play once I establish a trusting relationship with you. Some of my favorite kitty toys are ribbon toys, feather wands, and crinkle toys. Use caution though, as I can become overstimulated…then it’s ‘hands off’ for a little while until I settle down. For me, cat nip is a no-no. I will roll over for belly rubs to ask for those, and I also enjoy having my temples scratched / I don’t like sudden movements (hence much older kids only), and I can sometimes react to a hand coming towards me if I am surprised by it. Again, building my trust level with patience is key to establishing a lifelong relationship with me.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped spayed.

I am looking for a patient, loving owner to give me a calm, wonderful home! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
