Hello!  My name is Oreo!  I was a stray kitten who – along with my brother – was taken in by a Good Samaritan when we were quite young.  They felt our best chance for being adopted was through the Mostly Mutts program, so we are now in a great foster home, where we are getting used to people and living a great kitten life!  We hope to meet our furever families soon!
• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS:  I get along well with my sibling.  There are other kitties in my foster home, but they don’t like company, so we stay separated from them.  If you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet to see if we can be friends / Dogs Unknown / I’ve not met kids yet, but  gentle children who know how to handle a kitten may be nice in my new home.  Of course, let’s meet!
• PERSONALITY INFORMATION:  Though I am slowly starting to play a bit, I am still a shy kitten who is still getting used to my foster home.  I scoot for cover when my foster mom comes in my kitty room.  Once she sits down, though, I am the one who will come out and say hello.  I am sweet and loving once she has me in her arms.
• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS:  I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.
• LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like hanging out with my brother Licorice.  I don’t protest being picked up and held – sleeping for an hour or so in my foster mom’s lap with a loud, contented purr.  I enjoy hanging out in the kitty window hammock and watching the world go by / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not receive the love and patience that is helping me settle into a new environment.
• MEDICAL:  I’ve started my kitten shots, but you must finish those for me as I grow. I’m microchipped and combo tested negative.  I'm not yet neutered due to my small size, but it is required and will be done as soon as I grow a little more.  Mostly Mutts will cover that cost with one of their vets, so local adoptions only, please.  You can adopt me through the Mostly Mutts shelter after you have an approved application.
I am looking for a loving family that will allow me the time to settle into my new home.  Once I do, you’ll be rewarded with my kitty love and affection!  My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
