Dakota was adopted by his foster family. They couldn't bear the thought of him visiting Petsmart for another Saturday of adoptions after he had done so for several months. His special needs, such as severe anxiety when storms hit or when a fire is lit in the fireplace, require that he be given special attention. He is one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs though, and his family loves him very much.

My name is Rocky. I was at the Kennesaw Petsmart with Mostly Mutts hoping to be adopted when I saw the most wonderful person. When our eyes met I knew she needed me as much as I needed her. I was about a year old when I was adopted. I'm not exactly sure what type of breed I am but I do have really cool eyes! What do you think? I share my new home with three cats. They're rescues too. I love anything that squeaks. As far as I'm concerned, a dog can't have enough squeaky toys. In fact, I just got caught stealing a jar of money from Hayley's room (she's my human pal)-I love stealing things from her room! Anyway, about the money-I was just on my way to Petsmart for a new squeaky toy when my plan was discovered-I got caught red-handed (or is that red-pawed?)! Ha, just kidding about the Petsmart part but I really did take the jar of money! I guess that's why they think I'm a bandit. I look and act just like one. Anyway, thank you Mostly Mutts for giving me a second chance at life. I love my new family and they love me! We all think you're the best!

Hi! I'm Polly or better yet-Pollyanna the Great Dane. I'm about 4-5 years old. My story starts out kind of sad but it really has a great ending. I was brought to Mostly Mutts emaciated, pregnant, and heartworm positive. I delivered two puppies but unfortunately only one survived. His name is Eli and he's that cute puppy in the picture with me! My original foster family adopted Eli and a new family adopted me. When I was adopted it was Christmas time and I came with this Christmas tree toy that played "Oh Christmas Tree" . It's one of my favorite toys! I also love to take a sock or a throw pillow in my mouth and relocate it to another room. I don't chew these things or play with them; I just like to move them around! I have no idea why I do that except it's pretty fun! I share my new home with two dogs and two great children. My new family thinks I resemble Bullwinkle the Moose! I guess I am pretty big but I'm a gentle giant. I've started my heartworm medication in January and I am slowing and steadily getting back my health. I owe this all to some very special, kind and caring people! Without them my story would not have the wonderful ending that it does! Paige at Mostly Mutts is the best for doing what she does for dogs like me. So please make a difference and adopt or foster your next dog. Woof!

Hi, I'm Scout! Aren't I the cutest dog in the world? Can you believe I was left in a basket in front of a vet's office when I was around 4-6 weeks old! It was just after Thanksgiving. I weighed only 2.9lbs. I'm a lab mix. I'm also a very good listener and a quick learner. I get along great with my new pals Jack and Lucy (they're mini dachshunds)! I fit right in with my new family and I'm so happy they adopted me! I not only share a nice home but also a comfy basket by the fire with both Jack and Lucy. My old name was Noel. Paige at Mostly Mutts named my sisters and brothers "The Christmas Puppies". My name was changed to Scout because I'm a tomboy type of dog and very curious! My favorite thing to do is wrestle with Jack and I also love bones, rawhides, and a stuffed squirrel Santa brought for me! The funniest thing I do is hang my butt out of the basket, while laying half way on Jack and half way on Lucy. It'll only be a matter of time before I'll need a bigger basket! I'm very gentle and I have soft beautiful brown eyes that'll make your heart melt! They all say I look like Julia Roberts because I have very long legs. My new family gives Mostly Mutts an 11 in their book! Way to go Paige, you're the best!

Hi, My name is Jimmy D. I was adopted on December 16th when Mostly Mutts was at the Petsmart in Kennesaw. I'm around 10 years old. I'm A Collie mix. I was one of the oldest dogs at Mostly Mutts. My new family has 3 Burmese Mountain Dogs - Anna (7 years), Ruedi (4 years) and Juergen (8 months). I'm very happy in my new home and I'm getting comfortable sharing the attention with the other dogs! I like just about any kind of treat. I love when my chin gets scratched. In fact, sometimes it feels so good that I start moaning... then I bark once after I'm done. Everyone says I look like Jimmy Durante. My new family gives Paige a 10 out of 10. Many thanks to my new family and Mostly Mutts for getting us together! Ahhh...life is good.

Hi, my name is Cookies. Can you tell by all my girls surrounding me that I am in HEAVEN? I was adopted on November 25th, 2006, at the PetSmart, from Mostly Mutts. My new family was fostering me for about 5 weeks and of course, they fell in love with me! I was 12 weeks old when the adoption happened. And boy am I one happy gal! I'm a Lab mix (sort of) with a striped fur pattern, which is called a brindle. No one knows what kind of dog mixed with the Lab part of me! It's kind of a scandal and we prefer not to talk about it. (wink) My role in the house is that I'm the one who barks and I'm the baby of the family. I share my new house with three cats and a hamster. I like the cats, but the cats are not too sure of me. I have figured out which cat to stay away from! One scratch to the nose and it doesn't take long. I have a favorite plush toy duck that I love to drag around and ALL treats are my favorite. I get kind of crazy when I go for walks. I try to grab the leash and pretend to walk whoever is walking me. Everyone thinks I resemble Lucille Ball because I get the same look in my eye when I think I am in trouble. Of course I'm just as funny! My new family is the best and so is Mostly Mutts. I give them both an absolute 10 and so do they! So don't forget there are lots of dogs just like me waiting to get adopted! Not sure about adopting, you can foster a dog and who knows you might just fall in love! Woof!

Hi, I'm Bleu! A nice family of four adopted me when I was nine weeks old. They saw me on the Mostly Mutts website and went to the Petsmart on a Saturday morning. I am an extremely cute boxer puppy. I've got a two-year-old friend named Lucy who is also a boxer. My other buddies are two cats named Sandy and Cleopatra. They are both 8 years old! The family was looking for a playmate the same size as Lucy so I was the perfect match. I'm considered the baby of the family and Lucy's buddy. My old name was Mountain Doo doo!!! It was soon changed to Bleu. My favorite food would be lots and lots of treats! I'm kind of a chowhound if you haven't already guessed! I love to do the army crawl under the furniture and I stick my nose and paws out to sleep or play with Lucy. My day's of crawling under the furniture are numbered because I'm getting bigger and pretty soon I'm afraid that I might get stuck! My new family rates Paige and the gang a 10. Hi, we are Ester and Nikki and we where both adopted on April of 2004 at petsmart. Nikki was about 1 years old and Ester was about 7 years old. Nikki is a Rottweiler/German Shepherd and Ester is a walker hound mix. Our human parents just wanted one dog but we where both in the same pen together but being that we were so both irresistible they adopted us both! They don't have any kids so we are like their kids. They kept our names because the names were so cute. Nikki likes squeaky toys the most because they make a lot of noise. When we get itchy we like to roll on the carpet on our backs. Mom and dad think Mostly Mutts gets a 10 eight paws up!!!!

My name is Emma. I was adopted on May 13th at the Petsmart in Kennesaw. I am a very pretty 3-year-old Rotti mix, and am very good with kids. I'm not at all aggressive but I have to be honest...I am very active! I love my buddy Cameron the youngest son. He is scared of all other dogs but not me! I love to spend time with my family and I love having my belly rubbed, and playing Krypto the super dog with Adam (my older adopted human brother) dressed up complete with a cape and costume! I have learned to bark at strangers. I have no other dogs yet but I do have a fish. My name was not changed but there was a big argument over Krypto, Bathound etc... I love to eat people food and to be with my family. I have many different toys and treats but I like walking most of all! I love playing with my friends-the other dogs that come over to play with me. I am Sky! I was adopted on January 2006 from a foster home before I was to be taken to the Petsmart in Kennesaw. I was 9 weeks old! I am a cute golden mix but if you see me in person I have a lot of yellow lab in me. I was picked from my litter because it was meant to be!!! I am not only the comic relief of the family but the perfect antidote for depression! Best of all my services are free as I am the only pet in the family!!! I have a very long and complicated name- Quanta's Seattle Sky! The word Quanta means small bundle of energy. When the wonderful person who adopted me made the decision to adopt a dog she was looking at a sunset in Seattle. See how it all fits together! Quanta's Seattle Sky! But you can just call me Sky. I love balls, tennis balls and squeaky balls. I am trained to ring a bell when I need to go potty but if mommy doesn't get there fast enough then I run around with the bell ringing in my mouth. I am like the Olympic swimmer Ian Thorpe especially when I sprint out of the water like a torpedo. We rate Paige's and Mostly Mutts and the great people who fostered me a 10...10 paws up!

My name is Shelby but I used to be called Ginger. I was 6 weeks old when a great family adopted me, on June 1, 2005. They saw me when Mostly Mutts was at the Kennesaw Petsmart. I'm part Rottweiler and Cocker Spaniel. I am very friendly, smart and very kind. I am the newest member of the family and I am very protective of every one. I have the house all to myself at times when they leave. My favorite toy would be bones, lots and lots of bones. I love to chew on sticks and have a very deep bark that sounds like I am talking. Everyone in the family says I am like Dave Chappelle because I am so funny and I have a strange way of barking. They all say that Mostly Mutts is the best; in fact they give it a 10! My name is Bradley (Pit) Hutcheson. I met my new family on April 15th and then I payed a visit to them on April 17th but I was really adopted on April 22. I was 6 or 7 moths old when I went home with them. I am an American pit Terrier and I am very, very handsome don't you think?! I fell head over heels for them at the Petsmart in Kennesaw when Mostly Mutts was there. I walked over to them with my squeaky toy and it was love a first sight. I am their only child so of course I am spoiled rotten!!!!! I love the other animals in the house like Scooter III the beta fish and all the rabbits, chipmunks, birds, and squirrels in the backyard. I love my Bouncy ball and my squeaky toys (Mr.fishman and Mr.Snakeman). My favorite thing to do is go for a ride in the convertible with the top down and look at all the cars behind us. The best part of the ride is when my cheeks flop in the wind. I'm named after who else but Brad Pitt! With my handsome face and good looks how could I not be! My family gives Mostly Mutts A 10! Paige and the team rocks!

My name is Chong and I was adopted on April 7, 2006. I was about a year old. I am a mix of Chihuahua and Beagle. My new family picked me because I was sitting quietly in my cage and the other dogs where barking loudly. I am the baby of the family. There are no other pets in the family so as you can guess I am spoiled rotten. My family is half Korean and my name fits perfectly. They call me Baby Chong. My favorite treats are Pupperoni and T-bone steak bones! When I go to bed I like to sleep under the covers. I must admit, I have been told that I sometimes snore. Sometimes I get caught laying on my back with all my paws straight up into the air! Ahhhhh, this is so comfy. I have my very own comforter, blankets, and pillow. I've been accused of being like Brad Pitt because I am high maintenance and I do get noticed a lot. My family gives Mostly Mutts a 10. Words can't express the experience!

Hi I am Lucy!!!! I was adopted September of last year when I was 5 years old. I am a dachshund mix. I was adopted because I was a smaller dog that was older, potty trained and of course I was very sweet! I am part of the family and boy do I have it made! I love to sleep with my adopted mommy and daddy, ride with them in the car, and go for walks. I am so lucky because I don't have any other pet at the house. My real name was "Lucky Charm" but mommy and daddy changed my name to Lucy. I love Scooby snacks and sharing Poptarts with dad every morning. I will dance in circles every morning if you say, "walk" or "go outside". Mommy rates "mostly mutts a 20!!!!

Yeah for Red Baron. We all love this dog and now he has a family that will love him. This couple are drivers of a big rig and Baron will get to accompany them on their trips. How cool is that!!!

Do you remember poor little mangy Oozie? Her name is now Stella and look at her now! She is so beautiful. Her family says she is already a pro at fetch, sit, shake, down, and come. She is now working on heel and stay! Oozie is having an eye tuck. She needs eye surgery because she has too much skin below her right eye and when she winks or closes her eyes, it rolls inward. Oozie already weighs 45 lbs. and is only 5 months old.

This is not really a success story but rather a sad one.
On Sept. 12, 2007 Tiger got adopted by Rainbow's Bridge. We lost her to complications from heartworm treatment. Mostly Mutts is grieving our loss of sweet Tiger. We only had her for a very short time but she showed us love as we did to her. Sweet dreams TIger. Meet you at Rainbows Bridge one day.

Once we think we have seen and heard it all, a story like this one comes
about. Mommasita and her two 8-week old pups were found buried alive after
someone heard their cries. Mommasita was a severely timid and scared little
Beagle who coward at everyone and everything. She started to show signs of
improvement a few days after coming to Mostly Mutts. Her two puppies were
rambunctious and adorable and did not know they had been abused. A
wonderful family met Mommasita and within a few minutes decided to take her
home and show her what a good life is all about. They named her Hope and
they have reported that she is 'a different dog'. She holds her head up
high and is extremely happy knowing she'll never be hurt again. She is
potty trained and knows how to 'sit' and 'shake'. She even comes when
called. We are not sure who is happier, Hope or new mom and dad.
