Ain’t Too Proud To Beg

Mostly Mutts is one of the few rescue groups that accept special-needs dogs. This includes broken bones, mange, heartworm positive, etc. 

In the past two weeks we rescued Omar who has a broken knee cap and will require surgery. We rescued Don Juan yesterday who has an extreme case of mange. We rescued Sandy, a Yorkie puppy who has a deformed right front leg. Today we picked up three Dachshunds from a breeder and one has a broken jaw due to his teeth being so rotten (vet removed 10 teeth and more need to be removed in three months)...and the list goes on and on. We LOVE rescuing these 'cases' and the animal control officers LOVE that we do because they are otherwise going to be put down.
