IVY LEAGUE THEME PUP: 6 wks old. I am from a litter of three and we are VERY little and VERY young and are looking for homes that will make us VERY special. I will not be at adoptions just yet and MM is only accepting applications on me at this point. Because I am so small, once adopted MM will schedule and pay for my neuter at 4-5 months old. Any new family will have to sign a contract stating that they will take me to be done. In addition to the regular adoption fee of $175, MM is asking for an extra tax deductible donation for me of $100 each. No toddlers please because I am so small.

SWEET, SWEET GIRL: 5 1/2 yrs old, 27 lbs. My foster cannot say enough about how sweet I am. I am quiet and don't protest in my crate but please do not leave me in there all day. Lying by your feet is one of the things I like to do best. MM is paying to have my teeth cleaned and my cherry eye fixed the week of Feb. 6th. Maybe you could help me to lose 5 pounds as I am a bit heavy. Please consider me for your home. I will make a great companion for a family as I am an easy care girl, am good around kids, maybe best not toddlers, and also good with other dogs and cats. What else could you ask for??

LOVES TO CUDDLE: 3 yrs old, 8 lbs. I am a great little dog who gets along with everyone, including other dogs and kids, however I do not like to be touched on my rear end. Just approach me gently or I will get scared and may growl, but I don't bite. I will like to follow around the house, don't chew anything I am not supposed to, and love my bones. Cuddling on the sofa or going for a walk around the neighborhood are two of my favorite things to do. Once I get to know you I am very friendly and easy to maintain and just want to be loved on. I am looking for that perfect family who will cuddle with me and give me LOTS of love and not leave me alone all day.

Bay

  • Breed(s): Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie
  • Gender: F
  • Age: Young
  • Size: M
DARLING GIRL: 2 yrs old, 25 lbs. My sweet disposition says so much about me. I am a super-respectful, darling little girl who just LOVES to cuddle up in between my foster mom and my "sister" in bed at nights. Actually, my doggy sister lets me use her as a pillow and she is so comfortable. I also like to play hide-n-seek sometimes and hide under the bed until my foster mom finds me - I think it's fun! That's really the only kind of "play" I do. I follow my foster mom around the house all the time because I never want to leave her side. My foster mom says I'm the perfect leash walker because I do not pull. Also, the best news of all - I love the cat in my foster home! I respect the cat, as well as my foster mom. I do not want to disappoint her. Although I do love my foster mom and foster sister I am looking for the fur-ever love of my life. I need a home where I am not left alone all day and I will make a loving companion.

Brook

  • Breed(s): Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie, Spaniel
  • Gender: F
  • Age: Young
  • Size: M
PRETTY GIRL: 2 1/2 yrs old, 21 lbs. I was a lost soul at animal control...they even put me in a room that was more private because I was so scared. Mostly Mutts took me home with them and I instantly became a more confident and happy dog. I am beautiful now that I had a bath but I still need to gain a few pounds. I get along with dogs who basically leave me alone but my bark is bigger than my bite (cause I don't bite). I kennel really well and am quiet and I am very polite. I'll be a very loving companion and look forward to my new home.

Tonto

  • Breed(s): Pomeranian, Chihuahua
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Baby
  • Size: S
CUTIE: 5 mos, 6 lbs. My brother Ranger and I are high energy pups and love to chase each other around. We are fine with other dogs, altho' a bit afraid of much larger dogs and of the cats as well. We will need some training with our jumping habits, we just want to get your attention or to be held. We can be a little hard to hold because we are so wiggly. We do like to give kisses but are a little skittish if you lean in toward us to give us kisses. We like to be the kissers!!!! We are working on potty training. Because of our tiny size best no toddlers to step on us. Need another small dog in the home to play with. MM is asking for an extra tax deductible donation for each of us of $100 if adopted separately or extra $50 total if adopted together.

Publix

  • Breed(s): Shar Pei
  • Gender: F
  • Age: Young
  • Size: M
SWEET GIRL: 1 yr old, 44 lbs. Look at my sweet, soulful face!! I am a sweet, sweet girl, looking for my forever home and a family to love me!! I LOVE big, cushy dog pillows and when you pet me I will close my eyes a little and just soak up all the lovin'. I love to run around my foster's fenced in back yard and boy am I a fast runner. I can get over a 4' fence so need one higher. I also love to go on walks and my foster says I am great with a harness (don't like a leash to my collar). My name comes from the fact I was found in a Publix parking lot. I am a little leery of people I don't know so you will need to be patient with me. Once you let me come to you, and I decide I can trust you, I will be your best friend and my head will melt into your lap when you pet me. At night I am great in that I will hop on my huge dog bed and am asleep for the night. I can be a little mouthy when taking treats so my foster is working with me on that. As with all young dogs in particular, Mostly Mutts recommends positive reinforcement training classes with me. I will make a great family pet with some patience and loving guidance. It would be fun to have another dog in my new home.

ADORABLE: 4 mos, currently 20+ lbs. I am a beautiful and adorable puppy who would be best in a home with another dog. I have a lot of energy and I love to play with other dogs. As much as I love to run in a fenced in yard with other dogs, I am also a people dog. Not only am I smart, I learn quickly, but I have a lot of love to give too. My favorite toys are squeeky toys. I will make a great family pet.

Sampson

  • Breed(s): Spaniel
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Young
  • Size: M
BEST PERSONALITY: 3 yrs old - Springer Spaniel mix. Stop right now!! You have found your dog. My foster says I have a wonderful temperament. I took one look at my foster's daughters and was instantly excited to meet them. I am fine with the dogs in the family, but not the cat, who I want to chase. Everyone should want me because I have the best personality and look at my pretty, smiling face. I'm calm but playful, quiet and loving, sweet and huggable. My eyes should have already melted you by now. I seem to favor a back leg so the vet is checking out my leg and we will decide what kind of treatment I will need, if any. Once we get my leg fixed up my foster thinks I will prove to be pretty energetic. Either way, I'm worth every ounce of time and money that Mostly Mutts will spend on me. If all dogs had my personality, everyone would own a dog. I'm the best.

Starr

  • Breed(s): Labrador Retriever, Coonhound
  • Gender: F
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: L
SWEET & QUIET: 10 yrs., 57 lbs. SWEET & QUIET: 10 yrs., 57 lbs. Look at this sweet face! I am a very easy care girl and am very sweet and quiet in my foster home. It took me a while before I started to interact with my foster family, possibly because I neither see nor hear well. Now I come to them for hugs and head rubs, which I really enjoy, and greet them when they arrive home. I am looking for an angel I can spend the rest of my life with. I do not play, but really enjoy going on walks on local trails and will trot and slowly "gallop" (which my fosters think is really cute) along the way. Although I am not able to stand well for long periods, I can walk a couple of miles easily. I also enjoy the back yard, and like to take a few bounds around back there especially on a chilly day, in fact I totally startled my foster with my burst of energy in the yard recently. I would love a home with a nice yard to enjoy. Initially I had a bit of trouble using the stairs, but my foster says I am doing better, my back legs are getting stronger with regular exercise, plus I am now on arthritis medication (Previcox) which is a great help and possibly Glucosomine would help as well. I am fine with other dogs in the home but am not a playmate. I am potty trained but need to go out as soon as I get up in the morning. I have never barked at my foster home. Overall I am a very sweet, placid, quiet gal. My fosters say I need someone who will enjoy my gentle personality and will nurture me, as I need guidance with my poor eyesight (I will sometimes trip or bump into things) and will often not hear you, I respond best to hand claps and movement. I should not be allowed off leash in an unknown area due to my poor eyesight. Please consider giving me a wonderful, loving life for the time I have left, which could still be quite a number of years.
