Annie

  • Breed(s): Beagle, Boxer
  • Gender: F
  • Age: Young
  • Size: M
AFFECTIONATE GIRL: 1 year old, Medium sized. Annie is a very sweet and playful pup! She loves other dogs, is great with the family cat and loves people of all ages from toddlers to adults. She's crate trained, has wonderful potty habits, loves to be brushed and does very well with her baths. She's still very young and needs to have a variety of toys and bones to chew on. She's energetic and very affectionate. Since she's a beagle mix it's best that she's fed separate from other animals in the family, not at all because of aggression, but because the beagle in her will eat excessively and she will try to eat any other animals food. She enjoys a good walk and walks best with a harness instead of a collar. She is a very happy pup that just needs a good forever home to call her own. Her brother 'Obee' is just as sweet if you happen to be looking for two dogs, but they do not need to be adopted together.

Clark

  • Breed(s): Black Labrador Retriever
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Baby
  • Size: M
HAPPY/PLAYFUL BOY: 3 - 4 months old, Medium to Large when full grown. I am one of two very beautiful pups who are playful and lovable. My brother Levon is also available for adoption. I have the typical black lab personality, happy, fun, silly, playful and just full of love! Any family will enjoy me but I do need training as I grow (as does any pup). My brother and I are a little wild together but we can be trained either together or separately. We are best friends but we can be best friends with any puppy or dog. I certainly would do best in a home with another dog.

Scruffy

  • Breed(s): Shih Tzu
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Young
  • Size: S
A REAL LOVE: 1.5 years old, 12 lbs. Everyone is going to want to take me home! Not only am I precious to look at but I have the best personality, sure to make you smile and laugh all day long. When you see me carry my toys around, a tingle will go through your body because I'm just so darn cute. My toys can be little (like a cat toy) or really big (like a big chew bone). Sometimes I'll gently grab one of your fingers and hold your hand in my mouth but it's all out of affection and I would never hurt you. My coat is the kind that is low-shedding so I may be a good dog for people with allergies. You will have to spend money on my grooming several times a year or I will get mats in my hair. I love other dogs, I love all people and I will certainly be a best friend to anyone. An elderly person did fall over me and hurt herself so best if I go to a home with active people. I'm a LOVE! Mostly Mutts is asking for an additional $50.00 donation for me to help the less fortunate pups in the program.

Buster

  • Breed(s): Basenji, Jack Russell Terrier
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Baby
  • Size: S
ACTIVE/FUN BOY: 10 months old, 15 lbs. I am the kind of dog that just loves life and wants to enjoy it with a true companion. I'm very independent so calling me to come back to you needs to be trained as I'd rather go chase wild animals, including deer. I love to RUN, RUN, RUN and it seems I never get winded. Being off leash at times is essential for my happiness, so I'll need trips to the dog park or a large fenced in yard to let loose. I'm fast and agile and I'd be a great agility dog. I will not enjoy a life on the couch, unless I'm exhausted (which is a good thing). I will need an active family who will enjoy my get up and go personality. I really enjoy other dogs but I can be a little feisty upon introduction, but I'm totally manageable. I kennel well and I only have accidents when I don't get outside quickly enough. I'm adorable and will make the right family very happy.

Carley

  • Breed(s): Catahoula Leopard Dog, Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler)
  • Gender: F
  • Age: Baby
  • Size: M
SWEET NATURED PUP: 8 months old, currently 30 lbs. Carley is a super sweet puppy. She's good with people and dogs and she has good potty habits. There is a doggie door in her foster home and she has learned to use it. She's not destructive in the home, crates well, is quiet, and rides well in the car. She just has a sweet overall disposition. Carley is also learning 'sit', 'down', 'off' and 'stay' from watching her foster brother. Very smart! She would most likely enjoy learning agility or another active sport. She is becoming acquainted with the cat in her foster home but needs supervision. She enjoys her doggie toys and so far has been good at only chewing on them. As with any puppy, be prepared to give her lots of attention, time, love and training. Do that and she will be a happy happy girl.

Sage

  • Breed(s): Wirehaired Terrier, Schnauzer
  • Gender: F
  • Age: Young
  • Size: M
CUTE & FUN LITTLE GIRL: 1-2 years old, 36 lbs. I am an awesome little girl that will be a great family pet. My owner became very sick and could no longer care for me, so I am looking for a new family. At adoptions I don't seem interested in people because there's so much going on. I like to watch everything around me. But please don't let that fool you, I am a love with people. I can't wait to find my new home and be an affectionate member of a family again! I love to give kisses, will sit up and beg for treats and catch them mid-air!! (Although I do know to sit on all fours to receive treats when asked). One of my favorite games is chasing the ball and playing keep-away from the other dogs in my foster home. I also really like to chew on bones; typical of my breed, I like to hoard all the bones and toys on my dog bed! I am a HIGH energy girl and need lots of exercise either with you on runs/walks or with another dog. Going places in the car for more exercise is also great, I like car rides Once I am done with all my activities, I will cuddle at your feet in bed and fall fast asleep. Starr

  • Breed(s): Labrador Retriever, Coonhound
  • Gender: F
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: L
SWEET & QUIET: 10 yrs. 57 lbs. Look at this sweet face! I am a very easy care girl and am very sweet and quiet in my foster home. It took me a while before I started to interact with my foster family, possibly because I neither see nor hear well. Now I come to them for hugs and head rubs, which I really enjoy, and greet them when they arrive home. I am looking for an angel I can spend the rest of my life with. I do not play, but really enjoy going on walks on local trails and will trot and slowly gallop (which my fosters think is really cute) along the way. Although I am not able to stand well for long periods, I can walk a couple of miles easily. I also enjoy the back yard, and like to take a few bounds around back there especially on a chilly day, in fact I totally startled my foster with my burst of energy in the yard recently. I would love a home with a nice yard to enjoy. Initially I had a bit of trouble using the stairs, but my foster says I am doing better, my back legs are getting stronger with regular exercise, plus I am now on arthritis medication (Previcox) which is a great help and possibly Glucosomine would help as well. I am fine with other dogs in the home but am not a playmate. I am potty trained but need to go out as soon as I get up in the morning. I have never barked at my foster home. Overall I am a very sweet, placid, quiet gal. My fosters say I need someone who will enjoy my gentle personality and will nurture me, as I need guidance with my poor eyesight (I will sometimes trip or bump into things) and will often not hear you, I respond best to hand claps and movement. I should not be allowed off leash in an unknown area due to my poor eyesight. Please consider giving me a wonderful, loving life for the time I have left, which could still be a number of years. In lieu of the regular adoption fee, MM is only asking for a donation for me of at least $50. Probably best no toddlers because of my sight and hearing.

Price

  • Breed(s): Terrier
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Baby
  • Size: S
GREAT LITTLE SNUGGLER: 3 months old, currently 11 lbs. Yes, I'm actually as sweet as I am adorable. I'm going to be a smaller dog but I am very large on loving and cuddling. I can be the tiniest bit shy for about two seconds and then I'm super friendly. I'm great with other dogs, fine with cats, and love kids. I love going for a walk, playing tug of war and wrestling with other dogs but what I really want more than anything is to snuggle on your lap. If you want a little play and cuddle buddy, I'm your guy. As always...make sure you are prepared for a puppy! I require lots of attention, time, love and training. Give me that and I'll be your best FURever friend!
