Diane

  • Breed(s): Rat Terrier
  • Gender: F
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: S
A TOTAL SWEETHEART: 8 yrs. Old / 14 lbs. I was found by animal control with my sidekick Jack (who's already been adopted) and would really like to find a home with a family that is around a lot to spend time with. Kids would be fine with me too, as I've met some and liked them, just make sure they will be gentle with me as I'm not a big dog. I am an absolute sweetheart according to my foster mom. I LOVE to be with my people and enjoy all attention, regular walks on a harness, car rides at any and every opportunity, snuggling any time day or night, sleeping with my person under the covers - well you get the idea. My teeth are sparkly clean now, because I've recently had a dental and a few removed, however I still enjoy kibble and small treats. Energy level: 5 - 7.

Shiloh

  • Breed(s): Black Labrador Retriever
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: M
EASY GOING GUY: 15 years old / 40 lbs. I'm a sweet, soulful, older guy that's looking for a kind-hearted family to give me a great home during my golden years! In return, I'll give you my love and loyalty. I enjoy sunbathing through the window or outside on nice days, and I enjoy nice short walks with my people. I actually have a good pep in my step for my age and will show you my playful side at times which is so cute. I get to go on 'home' day trips with one of the volunteers and I just make myself at right at home while I'm there. She has a cat that I ignore, so cats seem just fine with me. I came to MM thin and am very food possessive, so just use caution with me around food. I'm good with other calm dogs, just feed us separately. Because of my age, it's hard for me to get outside fast enough to use the bathroom, but I'm on a new medicine that is really helping with this! Older children please as I'm an older guy and due to my food possessiveness. My adoption fee has been waived and Mostly Mutts is asking for a minimum donation of $50.00 for me and that you provide me with a loving forever home. Energy level: 3 - 5.

Quincy

  • Breed(s): Lhasa Apso, Poodle
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: S
SWEET / SPECIAL BOY: 10 years old / 16 lbs. I'm so excited because my eye sight has come back!! When I came to Mostly Mutts, I couldn't see at all, but the eye specialist put me on a few eye drops 3 times a day and the scar tissue in the back of my eyes is breaking up so I am seeing again! I've been told that I could get most of my sight back with continued care and it looks like that is happening! I still can't hear, but I use my nose and restored sight to make up for that loss. I'm a loving doggie that enjoys belly rubs and is good with other nice dogs. I have pretty good potty habits; just take me out on a schedule. I like to be close to my people, enjoy just hanging out and am really easy to care for. I don't do well in a crate or small confined area, but I'm so good that there's really no need to crate me. I should not live with anyone who is a fall risk though, since I won't hear to move out of their way. So just make sure your home is safe for me and I'll love you forever! Older children only, due to my special needs. My adoption fee has been waived and Mostly Mutts is asking for a minimum donation of $50.00 for me and that you provide me with a wonderful forever home. Energy level currently 2 - 4.

Toby

  • Breed(s): Chihuahua
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Baby
  • Size: S
SWEET LITTLE PUPPY: 2 - 3 months / Very small. I'm a little Tri-colored cutie pie that's super sweet! I absolutely love to be around my person and I get along very well with the other small dog in my foster home. I have some energy, like all puppies, but eventually wear out and will chew on my bone for a while. I'm doing pretty well with going potty outside and will also use pee pads, but I'm young and just learning, so I do have accidents. I want to know where my person is at all times so if you get lost in the house somewhere, I'll call out to you so I can find you. I'm just starting to learn this crate training stuff, and I have to say, I'm not really fond of the idea, but with gentle training and giving me something to do while I'm in it, I do eventually calm down. As with all puppies, I have sharp little teeth, so have lots of things for me to chew on and start gently training me not to chew on you or the kids so we'll all be happy! I'll need lots of love, patience and training in general to grow up and be a great dog that you can be proud of. Older children only, as I'm very small. Energy level: Currently 4 - 6.

Sebastian

  • Breed(s): Terrier, Maltese
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Young
  • Size: S
FUN / ACTIVE & ADORABLE: 2 years old / 12 lbs. I'm super friendly and love to play, play, play! I'll chase anything you throw for me and often bring it back to you. I have lots of energy for a small dog and love to go for walks. My foster mom takes me for a 2 mile walk every day and I still have energy to play with my foster siblings in the yard when we get home. I'm just now learning my commands so be patient with me and teach me please. I'm working on 'sit', 'stay' and 'no' in my foster home. I'm very quiet in my kennel and keep it clean and I've had good potty habits in my foster home with frequent potty breaks/let outs. Another very playful dog would be fun, but I would also do well soaking up all the love you have to offer as an only dog. Cuddling and getting lots of love is my favorite thing after my exercise needs have been met. I'm ready to begin my life with you and find my furrever home and I will soon melt your heart. Best no young kids as I'm small and haven't been around them yet. Energy level: 7 - 8.

"CHILDRENS POEM" THEME KITTEN: 2 - 3 months / Small. I'm an adorable little kitten that's full of energy and personality. I love to wrestle and run with the other kittens in my litter, especially Nod. When I get sleepy I love to cuddle with you and purr. I do well with the grown up cats in my foster home and am being socialized well. I'm not terribly fond of the dog, but we do cohabitate well together. My foster family says that I'm very playful and fun to have around. Gentle children only as I'm small.

Lilly

  • Breed(s): Schnauzer
  • Gender: F
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: S
CALM & PRETTY GIRL: 12 years old / 14 lbs. I'm a sweet dog that was living at a vet's office for about 6 months before I came to Mostly Mutts, so I sure am ready to find my new family! The vet's office was great and I loved all the people there, but there's nothing like having your very own family. My former family dropped me off there because they got a new puppy that I wasn't crazy about so they got rid of me. I'm good with other calm dogs once I get to know them and of course a proper introduction is always a good idea, but I don't care for very hyper dogs, and I'll make some noise and snap at them to tell them to calm down. I'm just past that silly age and enjoy the quiet life with my people. I have a nice and calm foster dog brother named Neo (he's also looking for his forever home) and he and I get along just fine. I also seem to be ok with cats as long as they don't bother me. If you were thinking about an only dog, that would be fine with me too. I have good potty habits, crate well and am really looking forward to finding my family. Older children please, as I haven't been around kids. Energy level: 3 - 4.

Midge

  • Breed(s): Chihuahua
  • Gender: F
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: S
SWEET LITTLE DOG: 4 years old / 9 lbs. I'm a happy, sweet and playful little girl, I just love to run after balls and fetch them even when they are almost as big as me! I will be your very best friend and we can play and snuggle just as much as you like. I get along very well with the many dogs in my foster home, even the big ones didn't faze me, I just settled in and made myself at home. I'd kinda like to check out the kitty a little too much though, so I would probably be best in a home without a cat. I am good around food and wait nicely for my treats with the other dogs. I like my crate and am happy to go in it when asked; I keep it clean and am quiet when I am crated. I'm on a nice, regular, potty schedule at my foster home and I'm doing pretty well, but do need my new family to continue being consistent in taking me out. I love going for walks and playing - I'm lots of fun! I have met a few children and like them, however my previous owner has obviously used harsh correction on me and I get scared if I think I did wrong and must be handled gently, so best if I go to a home with older gentle children as I have nipped a little. I have improved greatly at my foster home now that I know I am treated kindly. I'm not a nervous doggie though. I will bring a lot of joy and love into someone's life! Energy level: 4 - 6.
