Katy

  • Breed(s): Basset Hound, Labrador Retriever
  • Gender: F
  • Age: Baby
  • Size: M
"LETTERS OF THE ALPHABET" PUPPY: 2 months old / Medium to Large once full grown. I'm a little sweetie pie that is looking for a fun and playful family to grow up with. I'm always eager to play and love toys of all kinds, but my favorite are ones that squeak. There are dogs and cats in my foster home and I love them all. I play with one of the kitties but the other has told me NO, so I'm respectful of her. I'm good in my crate although used to being with one of my siblings and I walk pretty well on a leash in my yard. I'm active, fun, spunky and like to cuddle too. As with all puppies, I have sharp little teeth, so have lots of things for me to chew on and start gently training me not to chew on you or the kids so we'll all be happy! I'll also need lots of love, patience and training in general to grow up and be a great dog that you can be proud of. Energy level: Currently 6 - 8.

Sampson

  • Breed(s): Great Dane
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: XL
LOVING AND CALM GIANT: 7 years old / 138 lbs. My owner has become sick and can no longer care for me, so I'm looking for a new family to love that is very familiar with my breed and needs. I'm a giant couch potato that likes to rest my head in your lap and will bump you with my huge snout if you stop petting me for more. I walk well with my harness and have pretty good potty habits, although it's sometimes hard to hold it all night. I've never been crated and don't want to be in my new home and I need a family member that will be able to spend a lot of time at home with me, as I do have separation anxiety when left alone and will bark. I like most dogs and will hang out with them in the home and while were outside for a play. I know "sit" and "easy" for slow down. I'm protective in nature, a little territorial, and will challenge authority especially if they use a mean voice, but some of that may have been because my person was sick. I am very strong and can be a bit stubborn if I don't want to do something so I need a family that knows how to work with me on that. I don't care for a lot of stairs; they are a little difficult for me likely because my legs are so long. Be ready with drool rags, as I come with drool, but I also come with a lot of love. Much older children please as I haven't been around young kids much. Any additional donation would be appreciated. Energy level: 4 - 5.

"LETTERS OF THE ALPHABET" PUPPY: 2 months old / Medium to Large once full grown. My foster mom says that I'm very playful, confident and a curious little pup. I'm also, smart, sweet and am picking up on my potty training. Maybe you could teach me fun tricks! I'm doing well with leash training in my yard, and crate training too and I enjoy chasing a ball and bringing it back to you. As with all puppies, I have sharp little teeth, so have lots of things for me to chew on and start gently training me not to chew on you or the kids so we'll all be happy! I'll also need lots of love, patience and training in general to grow up and be a great dog that you can be proud of. I'm adorable and fun! Energy level: Currently 4 - 6.

"LETTERS OF THE ALPHABET" PUPPY: 2 months old / Medium to Large once full grown. I'm an adorable cuddle bug of a puppy, I like to bring my toys into your lap and hang out with you! I'm also a people dog that wants to please my family. I'm playful and like to analyze or think about things before I jump into the fun. I've learned how to chase a ball and bring it back to you too. I walk well on a leash in my yard and crate well with my sibling. As with all puppies, I have sharp little teeth, so have lots of things for me to chew on and start gently training me not to chew on you or the kids so we'll all be happy! Nikki

  • Breed(s): Harrier
  • Gender: F
  • Age: Young
  • Size: M
GENTLE / RESPECTFUL DOG: 3 years old / 35 lbs. My foster family says that I'm one laid back and cool dog. I'm respectful of the other dogs and the people in my foster home, I like kids, crate well and love chew toys and playing with stuffed animal dog toys. They also say that I'm puppyish and playful, but again respectful. I use a dog door to go out to potty and seem to have pretty good potty habits. I was born with a birth defect in my right, front elbow so I don't always use that leg fully, but it doesn't cause me pain and I've recently had an experimental treatment that may help me over the next week or so. There's no follow-up needed and I'm starting to use that leg a little more. I'm sweet, quiet and a Mostly Mutts favorite. Ask for more details about my leg if you're interested in me. Energy level: 4 - 6.

Kayak

  • Breed(s): Chihuahua
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Baby
  • Size: S
BOAT THEMED PUPPY: 2 - 3 months old / Approx. 3 lbs. I started off life a bit rough as my mom was killed by a car when I was only 10 days old. I almost didn't make it, but some wonderful volunteers took great care of me. I've had a few health challenges including ring worm which I am almost cured of, but I didn't let it get me down! I'm learning to walk with a halter and an extension leash in my yard and love walking around and sniffing things. I'm also working on my outside potty training, but you will have finish teaching me that. I LOVE playing with my foster brothers and sisters which are mostly kittens and cats but they aren't as interested in playing as I am. I LOVE toys and will take them to bed with me. I sleep with a tennis ball, a water bottle, 2 stuffed frogs and a large stuffed dog that's almost the same size as me. I am so cute when I carry it around, it will make you grin! I don't come to PetSmart adoptions yet, but can be adopted though the Mostly Mutts shelter to the right family with an approved application. Much older gentle children only as I am tiny and am expected to stay pretty small. Energy level: 4 - 5.

Eli

  • Breed(s): Chihuahua
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Young
  • Size: S
BIG PERSONALITY / TINY PACKAGE: 3 years old / 7 lbs. I'm the kind of little dog that you can take with you anywhere! I'm super friendly, love new things and haven't met a person I didn't like. One of my favorite games is to climb in your lap and head wrestle with your hands. I like to play with toys too and basically have a sunny personality and a tail that doesn't stop wagging! I get along with other dogs too but haven't met any cats yet. I played with an 8 year old girl at the shelter once that was very gentle with me so I love her too. Even though I'm 3 years old, I tend to play nip a little like a puppy does, so please gently help me learn to play appropriately. I'm a happy guy looking for a happy home! Older gentle children as I'm very small and puppy nip. Energy level: 4 - 6.

Wally

  • Breed(s): Jack Russell Terrier
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: S
HANDSOME & CALM GUY: 5 years old / 21 lbs. I'm a calm, friendly and happy dog that's really looking forward to having a family of my own to love! I got to hang out at a vets office (visiting, not sick) for a few weeks and enjoyed all of the people both young and old as well as the dogs that came to visit. I also recently met a cat and we just ignored each other. I keep my kennel clean and have had very good potty habits at the Mostly Mutts shelter as well as being a good boy to hang out with in the office. I seem to not even need to be crated. I also got to go on a library visit and was around kids of all ages, they loved me and I loved them. Even though I'm a Jack Russell mix, my energy level is much lower than most Jack Russell's. Energy level: 4 - 5.

Mandy

  • Breed(s): Boxer
  • Gender: F
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: M
SMART AND SWEET: 4 years old / 37 lbs. I'm a great dog that loves everyone I've met. I'm well behaved and have a quiet and sweet nature. The volunteers at the Mostly Mutts shelter say that I'm smart and loving, and I like that! I'm calm and easy going inside and have good outside potty habits. Other than going potty outside, I don't like being left in a yard, so please don't leave me out. I'm good in the car and I crate well when you have to leave the house as well as being past the chewing stage too. I'm not sure about other dogs though, some I'm fine with and others I don't care for although I am improving. A proper introduction on a walk is very important and helps me accept other dogs. If you don't have another dog that would be fine with me as I'll be a great friend to you that you'll love a lot! Best with older children as I may accidentally knock younger children over. Energy level 5 - 6.

Shiloh

  • Breed(s): Black Labrador Retriever
  • Gender: M
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: M
EASY GOING GUY: 15 years old / 37 lbs. I'm a sweet, soulful, older guy that's looking for a kind-hearted family to give me a great home during my golden years! In return, I'll give you my love and loyalty. I enjoy sunbathing through the window or outside on nice days, and I enjoy a walk with my people; especially since my painfully deformed toe nail has been removed. I actually have a good pep in my step now and am showing my playful side which is so cute. I came to MM thin and am very food possessive, so just use caution with me around food. I'm good with other calm dogs, just feed us separately. Because of my age, it's hard for me to get outside fast enough to use the bathroom, but I'm trying a new medicine that will hopefully help me with this and perhaps I could wear a belly band in my new home. Older children please as I'm an older guy and due to my food possessiveness. My adoption fee has been waived and Mostly Mutts is asking for a minimum donation of $50.00 for me and that you provide me with a loving forever home. Energy level: 3 - 5.
